TWF Premium 55 Insulated Electric Roller Garage Door

Premium 55 is our upgraded 55mm insulated roller door for single garages where comfort matters more. It uses a deeper 55 x 12.5 insulated slat for stronger insulation and a more solid feel than the standard option, while keeping the neater look of a 55mm system. Each door is built to your measurements in Norfolk and supplied as a complete DIY kit across the UK.

From £585 inc VAT for a white Premium 55 door with electric motor and key switch controls. If you prefer remote operation, you can add remote controls and a safety edge system in the Garage Door Builder. Your exact price is shown once you enter your measurements.

Premium 55 Specifications:

Slat height: 55mm
Slat thickness: 12.5mm
Curtain material: Insulated aluminium slats
Typical use: Single domestic garages, especially where better insulation is preferred
Top box: 250mm
Operation: Electric as standard

If you are unsure whether Premium 55 is the right choice, compare it with Standard 55 and Classic 77, or use the Garage Door Builder for guidance. The builder will show whether Premium 55 is suitable for your opening and headroom.

How Premium 55 Compares with Our Other Roller Door Options

standart-55-roller-garage-door

55mm x 9mm insulated slat for typical single garages. Best value option where standard insulation is enough.

TWF Premium 55

55mm x 12.5mm insulated slat for single garages. The upgrade option when better insulation and a more solid feel matter most.

classic-77-roller-garage-door-white

77mm x 18mm insulated slat for wider or double openings. Best suited to larger doors where span, strength and stability are the priority.

Sizes and Openings Premium 55 is Suited to

Premium 55 is built to your measurements rather than fixed panel sizes and is normally chosen for single garage openings where stronger insulation is a priority.

Supported opening range:

Width: 1200mm to 2650mm, including guide runners
Height: Up to 2550mm including a 250mm top box

Because Premium 55 uses a 250mm top box, it is important to check that you have enough headroom above the opening.

The top box can be positioned behind the lintel when sufficient internal headroom is available, or below the lintel if clearance is limited. A below-lintel fit slightly reduces the clear drive-through height, but still provides a neat, colour matched finish.
